Enjoy the view, If you come back the summer, you will be able to see the lake here, the next spot you will be able to see the lake is 50 miles to the west, in Grand Marais. Why? The DNR, remember last year they did not have any money, is closing off all of the two tracks to the lake. No more rock pickers, no more picnics, no more walks on the beach, all because of those ATV’s. Don’t believe this crap for a minute. The DNR will not even make a press release about this closing. Next time you see the Nature Conservancy, blame them and the deals with the DNR. Oh no more access on the Two Hearted River.
